Now that only a few days of his first welterweight title defense, Belal Muhammad has sent a pretty challenging message to Islam Makhachev.
On UFC 315 in Montreal on Saturday, Belal Muhammad makes the first defense of his 170 pound title when he takes on an exciting competition, Jack della Maddalena.
Prior to the biggest fight of his career to date, Mohammed was supported by the consensus greatest welterweight of all time, Georges St-Pierre, who has labeled him a complete hunter for his title defense.
Although Della Maddalena is his opponent, Muhammad is also preparing for a potential fight against Ian Machado Garry, because the Irishman is planned to weigh as a backup.

Muhammad sends Islam Makhachev a final message prior to title defense
Prior to his fight on UFC 315, Muhammad had the persistent thought of a potential collision against lightweight champion, the Islam Makhachev, at the back of his spirit.
After the successful record -breaking title defense of Makhachev at UFC 311, he again made it clear that he wants to move to goodweight in an attempt to become a two -weight world champion.
With him and Muhammad, however, Muhammad has stated several times that he will not fight against the Russian, causing Makhachev to wait.
The lightweight champion stated that he is going to wait at the peak of UFC 315 to decide what his next step will be, as if Della Maddalena Muhammad, Makhachev will go up.
However, only a few days of the main event, Muhammad sent a challenging message to Makhachev about his potential relocation in weight.
“We talked about it, he said,” Oh man, you have ruined my plans, “it's one of those things. Now they are waiting to see what is happening this weekend, but I will tell them, like, I would battle you (next) because I don't leave Montreal without the belt, I will still be the champion,” said the Anik and Florian Podcast.
“So, start with your camp now, who you have in line who you have in the store, you are good,” he continued.
Who will then fight Islam Makhachev?
With 'Remember the Name' that remain non -unpleasant that he will not fight against Makhachev and that he will stay as the 170 pound champions, the Russian will probably let his 155 pound title defend.
Makhachev, however, seems to remain adamant that he will not fight against Ilia Topuria, stating that 'La Layenda' needs a victory in the division before he fights for the title.
Nevertheless, Topuria recently teased that he was fighting on UFC 317, so that fans leave hopeful that the fight has been officially booked.
