Bellingham matches decade-long La Liga record only achieved by CR7 and Benzema

Jude Bellingham has had a slightly disappointing start to the season, but he has picked up form in recent weeks. He has provided five goals and three assists in Real Madrid's last five La Liga games, with Los Blancos winning four of those matches (one defeat against Athletic Club on Thursday).

Bellingham's five goals have come in each of the aforementioned five matches (against Osasuna, Leganes, Getafe, Athletic and Girona). According to Diario AS, he is only the third La Liga player in the past decade to achieve this feat. The other two were also at Real Madrid, namely Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, who did this four times.

Bellingham's scoring form at the start of last season took Europe by storm, and it is starting to look inevitable again. Real Madrid will be happy with their number five, and things are certainly looking up after a difficult period for the defending La Liga champions.
