Jude Bellingham says he is looking forward to undergoing shoulder operation after the World Cup Club and admits that he is playing with a brace and that a date has been set for the procedure.
Last month Real Madrid confirmed that they had planned for the 21-year-old when the tournament in the United States is over.
Bellingham has been struggling with a stubborn shoulder problem since 2023 and worn on his shoulder while playing for his club and England.
“I'm tired of the brace,” said Bellingham, after scoring the 3-1 victory of Madrid to Pachuca in Charlotte and the achievement of the player of the Match Award.
'Hopefully we arrive at the final and I operated on a few days after the tournament to have it repaired. I am really happy with that. It's a long time ago.
'I'm at the point that the pain is not that bad. It is more normal, it, with players who pull it and it is arranged again every time.
“I think I came up with it at the end of my patience. I am tired of playing in a brace, especially in this heat and it will be nice to have my old body back.
“At that moment I am ready to have a free shoulder and a free body.”
