Bellingham scores for the FIFTH LaLiga game in a row

Jude Bellingham appears to be back at his best for Real Madrid, scoring his fifth goal in as many games against Girona on Saturday evening.

After a difficult start to the season with no goals scored in the league in his first six appearances in LaLiga in 2024/25, the England superstar has returned in stunning fashion with goals in his next five games.

With Barcelona leading LaLiga at the start of the season and Kylian Mbappé's introduction to life at the Bernabéu not going quite to plan, Bellingham's return to form is a welcome boost for Carlo Ancelotti.

After Osasuna, Leganes, Getafe and Athletic Club fell victim to the midfielder's revival this season, it was Girona's turn.

With the score still at 0–0 in the first half, Bellingham burst into the penalty area to fire a piledriver of a finish past former Tottenham goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga and put his side ahead.

That goal was just reward for the performance of the Three Lions star, who dominated the pitch in the opening 45 minutes.

Bellingham created two big chances, made 29 passes, completed 100 percent of his dribbles, won both his duels, created three frees and scored the all-important goal in an all-round performance.

Outside the Spanish top flight, Bellingham is yet to register his first goal but will no doubt take heart as he whips himself back into form for Los Blancos.

Last season he catapulted to the forefront of the European game after a stunning debut season at the Bernabéu.

With his side winning both the Champions League and LaLiga titles, Bellingham was arguably the best player in the side.

He has scored 19 times in 28 LaLiga appearances, as well as another four in the Champions League and a further 13 assists in all competitions. This meant that he finished his first season at Real Madrid with 36 contributions in just 42 games.
