The Portugal striker left Benfica for Atletico Madrid in 2019 and is now being sought for their club World Cup (CWC) campaign, says Record. The CWC is held in the US in the summer.
Felix is currently at AC Milan from Chelsea, but has not done enough to convince the Rossonero to permanently sign it.
Instead, Milan sends Felix back to London at the end of the season. Although his reputation remains intact in Portugal and Benfica, a seasonal loan scheme would look for, but starting in June to cover the club World Cup.
Felix's deal with Chelsea runs until 2031.
