Benjamin Sesko has been associated with a move to Manchester United, and the striker's agent has already outlined the most important criteria he and his client will look for in deciding on his future
The agent of Benjamin Sesko, Elvis Basanovic, claims that the 22-year-old wants a “special project with a special coach” while focusing on a potential relocation to the Premier League. This news comes as a Newcastle United table a huge bid of £ 65.5 million for the RB Leipzig striker, amidst the current drama of Alexander Isak Transfer.
Manchester United is also in the race to sign the towering Center-Forward, where Ruben Amorim would like to get a no. 9 in the door to promote his attacking line. United continues with a deal to sign the Slovenian international after he had chosen him as their favorite target above Ollie Watkins, but Newcastle could stop their bid.
Sesko did not comment on the prospect of a switch to the Premier League earlier, which means that he has not given any instructions or indications. Given that this can all come down to whom the striker can offer the most attractive general package, and that does not only mean financially.
Basanovic discussed the possibility that Sesko made a move to England earlier this summer and stated that the striker is looking for a series of things before he decides where to play. The agent, who met former united football director John Murtough in 2022 to talk about a possible move to Old Trafford, said: “It is not correct to talk about the names of clubs interested in Sesko, but perhaps it is correct to clarify a few things.
“Let me tell you: Sesko competes with no one. He is him every day versus him. We have a clear plan for the future and media speculation has no influence on us. His figures at his age are similar to some strikers with all great career.
“That confirms my words. He will only start from RB Leipzig if we recognize a special club. A special project with a special coach.”
United is currently working on 'Project 150', an ambitious schedule that was launched last year with the aim of conquering the Premier League Crown for their 150th birthday by 2028.
Speaking of the initiative in June, United Chief Executive Omar Berrada said: “It sets a series of goals within a time frame, so that we can concentrate our efforts and energy on that goal. Can the team win the Premier League title by 2028?
“We are just finished with the 15th and it seems like an impossible task. But why not strive for it? Why not do everything in our power?”
Eddie Howe, however, wants to make an impression on Sesko, it seems that the Newcastle project focuses on making the club a permanent fixture in the top five of the competition table.
It is still too considered where Sesko will decide to go – if he moves at all – but the transfer battle is probably looking between the northeastern and northwestern giants of the Premier League.
