In a recent interview, the real betis president Ángel Haro confirmed that the club is in negotiations to sign Antony.
“We are in conversation with Antony. Participating in Betis would mean a significant reduction in his salary. We have to adhere to the financial discipline of the club, and we don't want that principle to break,” said Haro.
“Antony is an excellent player. In the past six months he has contributed a lot to the team, but we have to handle everything well. We absolutely cannot act impulsively.”
