Newly beaten UFC -light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev wanted to remind Jon Jones of his former controversies, after 'Bones' Gloated in Light or Alex Pereira lost his belt on UFC 313.
Jones went to Instagram after the loss of Pereira on UFC 313 to scoop on his title defense record. In the past the light heavyweight king, Jones built up 11 light heavyweight defenses, and now one heavyweight defense, only marred by leaving his belts twice because of cheating and being arrested.
Jones noted 'Small Flex' about having more title defenses than any other male champion together, to which Ankalaev Umbrage brought.

Magomed Ankalaev Slams 'Big Cheater' Jon Jones for mocking 'Clean' UFC champions
In response to Jones's comments in a message on X on March 10, Ankalaev – or his manager who runs his account – is a fiery message to the controversial champion.
“Yes, but all these champions are clean, he is [Jones] A large cheater that we all know, “wrote Ankalaev.
Yes, but all these champions are cleaning his big cheaper, we all know this 😊

Jones is often split off from goat conversations because of his controversies inside and outside the octhoek. He was convicted of a hit-and-run incident in 2015, where he was stripped and suspended from his title. He was suspended and stripped of his interim title in 2016 after a potential anti-doping violation, and then again in 2017 after the failure of his drug test against Daniel Cormier in their Rematch.
Magomed Ankalaev would consider fighting heavyweight
A Vecht by Ankalaev vs. Jones is not off the maps, because Ankalaev registered his interest to fight in heavyweight. For that, however, Ankalaev wants to silence any doubters with an Alex Pereira brake match.
“I think we now have to close the questions in this division. If they want a rematch, we can do that, but there are also other guys. I want to close the questions here and then I think we can fight big fighting at heavyweight. “
Because Pereira has cleaned up its division well, many new matchups will be made with Ankalaev, including: Jiri Prochazka, Khalil Rountree Jr. and the winner of Carlos Ulberg vs. Jan Blachowicz.
