One of Demetrious Johnson's title finances thinks he would take the UFC belt of Alexandre Pantoja.
Things bloom in the BKFC. The world's fastest growing combat sport promotion has announced four brand new tournaments at the press conference 'Champions Summit' on Thursday, including an outweight $ 25 million and four ex-PUC signing sessions.
BKFC has been consistent in booking title fights, with an interim-flying weight championship between Gee Perez and Andrew Strode together with BKFC 78 on Saturday in Hollywood, Fl.
The title deployment came as a surprise for John Dodson, the ruling BKFC flying weight champion that is unbeaten about five fights in the square circle.
Years ago, Dodson was one of the best hunters in the lighter weight departments, with almost defeated when champion and all time great Demetrious Johnson in their first fight in 2013.
Almost five years away from his last UFC fight against the current Bantam weight champion Merab Dvalishvili in 2020, Dodson still thinks he can hold his own in MMA against the very best in the world.

John Dodson says casually that he would disable UFC champion Alexandre Pantoja
When asked if he is still looking at the UFC, Dodson said:
“Well, I can continue and knock out [Alexandre] Pantoja, “Dodson told Danny Segura of MMA Junkie.
Pantoja recently recorded his fourth consecutive title defense on UFC 317 with a flawless entry victory over Kai Kara-France. Alexandre Pantoja runs on an 8-Fight win-streak and is at #5 in the pound-for-pound ranks of the UFC.
The SubmitsieKunstenaar has never been eliminated or submitted in his 35-Fight career.
Nevertheless, Dodson is convinced that he can release Pantoja or his next title, #1 Competent Joshua.
“That Joshua from Guy, I guarantee you, they want to talk about someone who has incredible knockout power … My Filipino force can eliminate his Filipino force.”
The 23-year-old van is 15-2 as a professional and comes from the biggest victory of his career over former title challenge Brandon Royval on UFC 317.
“That door can always be reopened,” said the BKFC champion about a potential UFC Comback.
“I just have to continue and secure my victories, go back here, place dominant versions in BKFC and then also go back to Japan and also start arranging what is outside.”
John Dodson responds to a 'stupid' interim title created while he is 'active' champion
Tominale evening there will be two flight weight champions in the BKFC.
The winner of Gee Perez vs. Andrew Strode on BKFC 78 will set up a title Unification Bout with Dodson in the near future.
Dodson, whose last title defense was a draw more than a year ago, has not yet fought in BKFC. Dodson fought Takaki Soya twice under the Rizin Banner in Japan in the removed time.
BKFC boss David Feldman has made clear what he thinks about his champions fighting for other promotions, which denied lightweight Franco Tenaglia champion for taking an MMA fight.
As far as Dodson is concerned, it seems that BKFC has gone the alternative route when crowning an interim champion instead of stripping him.
“First of all, I think that is stupid that they make an interim title that I am an active champion,” said Dodson at the BKFC press conference on Thursday.
“Like, I'm waiting to fight someone,” Dodson continued.
“I asked to fight against both the boys fighting for the title. I will continue and get the winner …”
