Match report

Dominic Solanke and Pedro Porro scored the most important goals in the second half, while Spurs survived a number of fears from their hosts.

The Ange Postecoglou team has reached their first European final since 2019 when they lost Liverpool in the showpiece in the Champions League, and will now be confronted with Manchester United, who has aggregated Athetic Bilbao 7-1 in the other semi-final.

Ole Didrik Blomberg was left unark on the distant pole on an eighth minute, but his efforts rushed and shot in the side under no pressure.

Destiny Udogie then saw a low ride pushed away over the face of the goal by Nikita Haikin, who then threw porro's immersing free kick over the bar.

Spurs grew in the game when the first half continued, with Yves Bissouma trying his luck from the edge of the box after a corner, but his effort just sailed over the top.

It was all Postecoglou's side in the second half and they found their breakthrough in the 63rd minute. Mathys Tel waved an inviting corner in the box and Cristian Romero towered above everyone to nod him in the six-year box for Solanke to poke Haikin.

Only six minutes later their fate was sealed. Udogie quickly broke to the left and spread it patiently using Dejan Kulusevski. He put Porro on, who looked like he was trying a cross, but Haikin was caught by the flight of the ball and it is in the back of the net.

Bodo/Glimt kept pushing until the end, with Sondre Sorli drilling a powerful shot on goal, but it was straight in the middle in Guglielmo Vicario.

In the last seconds, the referee admitted the hosts a penalty because it looked like Porro Felled Sorli in the box, but after a Var evaluation the decision was destroyed because the defender did not make contact with the replacement.

Data debrief: a step from glory

Since November 2013, Spurs had not won back-to-back games in large European competition, but a professional performance saw them end in Norway.

In fact, this was their ninth consecutive victory in the Europa League, which did this for the first time in their history in a major European competition.

Solanke played his role and recorded his ninth target contribution in the competition this season (five goals, four assists).
