Borussia Dortmund star to have La Liga loan spell cut short

Sébastien Haller was considered a major coup for Leganes when he signed on loan from Borussia Dortmund in the summer. However, his time in Madrid has been below expectations and he has not found the back of the net in any of his nine appearances so far (eight in La Liga).

Haller arrived as a big signing, but Leganes are already considering a move for him. According to Marca, club bosses are currently deciding whether to shorten his loan period. If so, he will return to Dortmund in the coming weeks.

Leganes are not impressed with Haller's adaptation to Spanish football, nor are they happy with his current physical condition. That's why he's struggled to establish himself as a starter. It wouldn't be a surprise if this episode ended during the winter transfer window, given its success so far.
