Bournemouth -Baas Andoni Iraola has broken his silence in the midst of speculation that he could replace Ange Postecoglou in Tottenham.
Postecoglou is under pressure most of this season, where Spurs were left seriously and 14th were in the Premier League table with 15 defeats in 29 games.
Fans are generally split over his future, but a new report has suggested that his position could be considered in the summer, with other goals already sounding.
Earlier this year, Postecoglou asked to win a trophy in his second year – this season – but has only one shot left to fulfill that promise in a campaign to forget.
Spurs has passed a gloomy Premier League season, while the North London club was also excluded in both domestic cups, making the Europa League as their only trophy to play for.
Iraola is tipped to become the new manager of the North London club if they do not end their long trophy -dried -to -end this term.
The Boss van Cherries, however, says that he is 'really happy' on the south coast and wants to bring the club to the next level.
'I want to do my work as well as possible. I don't know how far we can go, where we will end, “said Iraola for Bournemouth's FA Cup quarterfinals collision with Manchester City.
'If I don't do the work so well, they (the owners of Bournemouth) will find someone else who does the work – it is in every job.
“I'm really happy here. We have a great opportunity for the first time in the history of the (club) to go to (the FA Cup) semi -final. That would be great for me personally and for the club to reach new heights.
“But we know that we must also be realistic, that there are better teams than we and we have to fight against teams that are very good, so we will try to give the best level we have.”
Iraola has supervised an impressive transformation in Bournemouth since he came to the club at the start of last season. After they have led the 12th in the table last term, they are currently in the 10th, only four points of the Champions League places.
He will be a man in the near future, and his team is 10 points ahead of Spurs in the table, while he also has a FA Cup quarterfinals to look out this weekend.
The Spaniard has a year over his deal with the Cherries, which means that Spurs would have to pay his £ 10 million release clause if they want to secure its services.
