Bournemouth star’s dad drops transfer hint that Real could frustrate LIV again

Real Madrid is ready to get Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool in the summer, but that may not be the only way they frustrate the Premier League side.

The father of Dean Huijsen has dropped the biggest hint until the defender will join Real Madrid from Bournemouth. The teenager was also associated with Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, who could curse the Spanish giants for the second time for the second time for the second time.

Madrid's striving for Liverpool right back Trent Alexander-Arnold seems to be approaching his conclusion, whereby the English star will move to the Bernabeu on a free transfer. However, Madrid is also in the middle after reinforcements, that is where Huijsen enters.

The Spanish International Huijsen only arrived in Bournemouth from Juventus last summer, but his immediate impact has warned some Big-Hitters. The 19-year-old also won his first two senior caps for his country in the UEFA Nations League Double header against the Netherands in March.

Spanish Outlet Diario as reports that Madrid is ready to renounce € 50 million (£ 41.7 million) to bring the teenager to the Bernabeu, although other sources indicate a release clause of £ 50 million. Not only that, but the father of Huijsen Don reportedly shared the front page on his Instagram stories before he later deleted his message.

Huijsen Sr also shared a number of photos with his son on the field in Valencia after the second stage, together with two Spanish Vlagemojis. The defender played for the Netherlands to the level below 19, but switched to Spain after earning a call-up to the younger than 21s in 2024.

Real Madrid struggled this season with injuries on the back. The expected arrival of Alexander-Arnold would help to mitigate the blow of the long-term absence of Dani Carvajal, with the veteran going up an ACL injury in October.

Antonio Rudiger, Eder Militao and David Alaba all have absence this season. This has forced Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti to improvise at Center-Back, with Raul Asencio and Aurelien Tchouameni who start together in a victory in Villarreal just before the international break.

“Dean is again a great news for Spanish football,” Spain manager De la Fuente said reporters after the second stage to the Netherlands (as translated by athletics). “It just seems that he has been on the elite level of football for many years. He has fitted so well with our group with his skills, but also his personal values.”

If Madrid indeed Huijsen and Alexander-Arnold countries, it is back to the drawing table for Liverpool and their manager Arne Slot. Slot is also in danger of losing Virgil van Dijk this summer when the captain's contract ends, while the center-back partner of Van Dijk Ibrahima Konate no longer has a contract in 2026.

Despite the Huijsen update, Liverpool could still bring in one member of Bournemouth's Back-Line in the summer. Reds Transfer Chief Richard Hughes was responsible for bringing left back Milos Kerkez to the Vitality Stadium in 2023 and could help the Hungary International to Anfield.
