Unrogent heavyweight boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk is open to fighting Jake Paul, but not for the reason you would probably think.
Oleksandr Usyk and Jake Paul are two of the biggest names in modern boxing, albeit for various reasons. UsyK is currently demonstrable boxing pound-for-pound King and Paul is considered one of the most polarizing personalities of sport.
The UsyK platform is larger than ever before after back-to-back victories on Tyson Fury in the Ring. He is expected to get another big name for his next fight, possibly Joseph Parker, to defend his undisputed heavyweight championship.
In the past few weeks, Anthony Joshua and other large boxing losses that Paul may have entertained in a future competition. Paul was in serious conversations to fight against Canelo Alvarez before the negotiations fell apart at the one-year-line, while Alvarez drew a lucrative deal with the Riyadh season and Turki Alensohikh.

Oleksandr Usyk Open to talk to Jake Paul and his team about a future fight
The Usyk team is ready to make a fight with Paul happen, but in a different discipline.
In a recent interview with OLBG, Sergey Lapin from UsyK was asked about a potential future collision with Paul.
“Usyk has always only taken care of the best fighting of the best and creating a lasting inheritance in the great sport of Boxing,” Lapin began. “But in the future, while he continues his place as one of the true big hunters, we will see which other opportunities open for him.
“It might be great to step into the cage with Jake Paul under MMA rules, it would be interesting if there was money from it. We also never say about fighting the dangerous Alex Pereira, possibly collaborated with Dana White.”
UsyK has shown interest in considering UFC -Superster Alex Pereira in a future crossover fight that UFC CEO Dana White recently closed. But an MMA fight between Usyk and Paul can be mediated with a non-FIC promoter.
Paul has repeatedly plagued a future move to MMA, especially after drawing at the PFL in 2023. But two years after his signing, he did not appear in the cage and he remains focused on promoting his boxing career.
In the meantime, UsyK has never participated in MMA during his combat sport career and has no remarkable grab experience to go with his boxing skills. But the willingness of UsyK to learn and grow can make an MMA debut tempting in the coming years.
Darts Star promises Jake Paul 'One-Punch Knock-Out' during the recent event
Paul will continue to talk later this year for his boxing and might be confronted with Joshua after he had the heavyweight star as 'no chin'. Joshua is also open to Paul after he fell to Daniel Dubois in his most recent outing.
Paul was also called in a viral moment by Darts star Gerwyn Price, to which Paul immediately responded to social media. Price promised Paul to eliminate with one blow, for which Paul invited the prize for a spontaneous sparring session.
Paul remains one of the biggest points of boxing and continues to attract the attention of Usyk, Joshua and the like. But time will learn whether an MMA debut will finally flourish, but Usyk is ready to be the first MMA opponent of Paul.
