UFC Vliegweig Ronaldo Rodriguez had a heavy strike in UFC Mexico City prior to his fight with Kevin Borjas to start the main map. Rodriguez's entire corner accompanied him to the octhoek for a loud crowd in the Arena, but boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. Did the biggest reaction of the fans.
Rodriguez returned to the Octagon in UFC Mexico City after he cemented himself as a rising star at UFC 306 in September. Rodriguez has closed a long wintreak by setting up a dominant performance against Ode Osbourne and dividing the veteran through an unanimous decision.
The expectation of the return of Rodriguez's UFC Mexico City was huge, especially fighting in his home country and on another important platform. But the fans did not expect that Chavez, a national hero, was part of the large showcase fight by Rodriguez.

Chavez, who had a seat from the esteem in UFC Mexico City, worked a few times with Rodriguez in prior to his UFC refund. Chavez is considered one of the greatest boxers of all time after a legendary career that includes decades.
While Rodriguez had the 'pump and circumstance' during his strike, the result of his fight did not go according to plan.
Borjas, a Peruvian powerhouse, gave Rodriguez one of the biggest shocks of his career in UFC Mexico City. He dropped Rodriguez in the fight and had almost eliminated him on the edge of the many times, but Rodriguez was able to make it the full three-round distance.
While Rodriguez came a late increase in round 3, Borjas ran away with the unanimous decision to achieve his first UFC victory. Borjas earned a shot in the UFC Via Dana White's Contender Series in 2023.
While he was present in UFC Mexico City, Chavez met UFC -Superster Alex Pereira, who was only a few weeks after his loss at UFC 313. Pereira lost through a unanimous decision by Magomed Ankalaev, but is expected to get an immediate rematch later this year.
Brandon Moreno made a strong thing for a title shot in UFC Mexico City
In the main event of UFC Mexico City, Brandon Moreno won his second consecutive victory by opening Steve Erceg by a unanimous decision. Moreno, who is always 0-2 against UFC flying weight champion Alexandre Pantoja, made a strong thing for a title shot with his performance.
It is expected that Pantoja will return later this year, possibly for UFC 316 in Newark, although nothing is officially from this letter. Manel Kape and Kai Kara-France are two names in the mix for Pantoja's next title Challenger.
In the Co-Main event of UFC Mexico City, Manuel Torres Drew Dober saw the first round of TKO. Despite the immediate protest from Dober, Torres ran away with a new big win to get closer to the lightweight top 15.
A middleweight matchup between Joe Pyfer and Kelvin Gastelum was only scratched a few hours before UFC Mexico City after Pyfer had had a disease on Friday after the ceremonial weighting. The fight may be planned again next month.
