Brad ‘Cutman’ Tate reveals the nastiest cut he’s ever treated in his UFC career

For a long time UFC Cutman Brad Tate felt particularly uncomfortable while treating the cut of a former UFC champion.

UFC Cutman Brad Tate is a common presence in some of the largest cards in the promotion. Tate, a 19-year-old UFC employee, helps to treat some of the dirtiest cuts in the middle of the fight that hunters regularly suffer.

Fighters suffer from injuries and annoying cuts before, during and sometimes after their performances in the Octagon. Tate is usually one of the first people on the spot to tame the bleeding.

But for Tate, an old paramedic, the cut of a former UFC champion left him in a state of panic.

In a recent interview with James Lynch from Sportskeeda, Tate pointed to one crack who suffered a hunter who felt extremely uncomfortable.

“The TJ Dillashaw cut when he fought against Cory Sandhagen. Because the cut was vertical in the eyebrow, and I had never seen that before,” Tate said.

'So the doctor told me' hey you have to work this, because there is a gut [there]And if you don't stop that, it can damage more '.

“I look at the cut and I am crazy … that was one of my most challenging, but it ended up and TJ got the victory.”

Former UFC Bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw then won the fight for Cory Sandhagen through a split decision, in one of the most controversial victories of his career. Dillashaw then lost to Aljamain Sterling on UFC 280 before he retired due to an extensive injury history.

In the meantime, Sandhagen remains one of the best UFC -Bantamweight contenders and will probably get the next title shot.

Cory Sandhagen is set to get a long -awaited title shot of Bantam weight

Sandhagen and UFC Bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili will probably clash towards the end of the year. Dvalishvili recently defeated Sean O'Malley in their UFC 316 Rematch, while Sandhagen overcame last month against DEIVESON Figueiredo on UFC des Moines.

Sandhagen is the most likely option for the next opponent of Dvalishvili, such as the return of Umar Nurmagomedov to the Octagon is uncertain. A potential rematch between Nurmagomedov and Dvalishvili was recently endorsed by UFC CEO Dana White as Legacy Builder for the career of the champion.

Dvalishvili defeated Nurmagomedov earlier this year by a unanimous decision to retain its UFC -Bantamweight title. Nurmagomedov was unbeaten in the introduction of UFC 311.

Sandhagen will want to deduct the UFC Bantamweight champion Dvalishvili and take a new era in the division. But he is confronted with a long task, because DvalishVili will fight at the peak of his continuous fighting momentum.
