Brandon Moreno believes that he has done enough for another shot at UFC champion Alexandre Pantoja.
At the age of 31, the dual UFC champion flight weight is hungry to get his belt back after he lost it to Alexandre Pantoja just over two years ago.
Moreno gave rival Pantoja one of his absolutely most difficult fights on UFC 290 in 2023, unable to guarantee the decision victory over five rounds, because two of the three jury members scored the fight for Pantoja.
Fast forward to now, 'The Assassin Baby' drives back-to-back victories on Amir Albazi and former title finer Steve Erceg. Moreno was a cageside for the successful title defense of Pantoja against Kai Kara-France on UFC 317, where he had searched for a sign that he was the next in line for the title.
While the camera was building to Moreno at a certain point, it was Joshua from that opposite the victorious Pantoja in the Octagon. From called until the moment after the 23-year-old defeated no. 1 Competent Brandon Royval in the previous fight.

Brandon Moreno says he deserves the title fight, just like Joshua van
Moreno says that his fighting career is now in a 'really weird position'.
Fixed and tries to get a fight, Moreno has made it clear that he thinks he deserves a UFC option against the Pantoja champion.
“I don't like it, really nothing,” said Moreno about his situation on the Jaxxon podcast.
“I don't know what's happening. I'm not in hell, I'm in the dark. I don't have a fight quickly …
“After I defeated Albazi and Erceg, who did a great fight against Alexandre Pantoja, I think I deserve the chance of the title.
“But again, the division is now a bit weird because we have a van. He did a great job in his last fight. We have Manel Kape. We have myself with many good arguments to try to argue for the title. So it's strange.”
Despite his role in all this, Moreno would also not succeed from a title fight. Van IS 8-1 in the promotion and arranged #1 in the flightweight division.
'I am thinking about the end [of the day]He simply beat the number one in the ranking, that's why he deserves the struggle for the title, “said Moreno about Van.
“I [met] Him in Kansas City when I was running, training in Glory MMA. I meet him there and we train a bit together. I have nothing to say to him. He is a very cool guy. He deserves what he gets now, but, man, at the end [of the day]We are here in a competition, “Moreno added.
Brandon Moreno confirms that he will not fight at Noche UFC
In flying weight 'Limbo', many thought that the next stop of Moreno would be at Noche UFC on 13 September.
The third annual UFC event in Noche, to commemorate the Mexican Vechtgeest and the Mexican Independence Day, was initially established in Guadalajara, Mexico, but was eventually moved to San Antonio, Texas.
Moreno, one of the greatest Mexican hunters of all time, was not asked to fight on the map.
“September 13 is NOCHE UFC, but I have nothing,” said Moreno about fighting offers.
'Do not have an official range of these boys. So that's why I try to take advantage of this free time [get better].
“But at the same time, man, I die I try to fight …
“I can be the champion again,” said Moreno.
