According to a report by L'Équipe and Le Parisien, a Brazilian escort company has gone out of its way to help SC Corinthians Paulista secure the signing of former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba (31).
The France international is currently a free agent after being released from his contract with Serie A club Juventus. The midfielder was given a four-year doping ban in February, which was later reduced to eighteen months in early October. Pogba will be allowed to train with clubs from January.
Rumors are circulating in France that Olympique de Marseille are interested in bringing the midfielder to Ligue 1, while Manchester City have been linked with a move in the Premier League.
There is interest in Brazil and an escort company has confirmed that it is willing to partly finance the midfielder's wages at Corinthians through a sponsorship with the club.
Corinthians' marketing department has officially responded to this by saying that they want to inform the public “it has received an email from the Fatal Model company, but no negotiations are underway. The club thanks the company for its interest.”
