Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca praised the new Estevao Willian signing after the Brazilian blinded his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace.
Introduced in the 54th minute for colleague recout Jamie Gittens, he impressed Stamford Bridge with his speed and skilled play.
Maresca has predicted that Estevao will become an “important” player for the blues in the future.
“The personality is great. You can see that he is from Brazil, they are different and he will be a fantastic player for the club,” he told the media.
“We know Cole (Palmer), Estevao needs time to adapt, but he will be important for the team.”
Chelsea only succeeded a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace, although Estevao was impressed by his debut.
