Dana White wants to go boxing 'breaks' before rebuilding with a new competition

Speaking with Fight Hub TV, while he looked 'King' Callum Walsh A knockout in the first round in New York City, Dana White was asked about his plan to 'fix' boxing-in particular something else to make TKO boxes succeed.

'Ah, where do you start? You probably know, [making] The best fight the best, I would start there. “

White remained cautious whether the first boxing event of TKO could be held by Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, and noted that both he and Turki Alshikh are in an interesting position – if they can get to the right side of things.

“Listen, my model is very different, Turki has things that he has mandatory for the next 18 months … I want to break down this sport and build from the ground as we did with the UFC, so I'm on a different path.”

When asked if he will collaborate with Oscar de la Hoya, Eddie Hearn, Frank Warren and other top promotors in booking matchups, just smiled White and said: “I don't know, I don't know how that will all play, we'll see.”

Those comments have been received on a mixed reaction from the global boxing community, with a large part of the answers to the melody of 'this attitude cannot take'.

“Dana does not know – about boxing,” is one fan remark, with another rather depressed listener who adds: “The more he talks, the more I want him to stay away from my sport.”

Dana White warned of 'Sleep with one eye open' by Eddie Hearn

The bosses of UFC and Matchrome have had a friendly working relationship in recent years, where both promoters are extremely complementary about each other's workflow.

However, now that he has entered the boxing scene as a potential rival, Eddie Hearn Dana White has warned about both the power of the schedule and about sleeping 'with one eye open'.

“Boxing is the worst company in the world,” Hearn said during a recent interview with IFL TV.

“I hope these guys have the appetite to get up completely – – Night and sleep open with one eye every day … Because you don't get control where you can go to bed at 10 am [at night] and wake up at 8 am [in the morning] And expect the industry and your situation to be exactly the same.

“It doesn't work that way. Every F – – is there every day. Lady? I am one of them,” laughed the boss of the matchroom.

In a recent anger, boxing legend Paulie Malignaggi argued that White is going solo and will not work with other promoters such as Hearn and that the entire sport will suffer because of this.
