While Monaco is receiving their Ligue 1 campaign against Le Havre AC today, Breel Embolo (28) is a player who does not participate. The Swiss International has been omitted from the MatchDay team.
Embolo has only had one year over his deal at Monaco and the principality club has not taken any steps to extend that deal. He can leave the club this summer, even if Monaco is not exactly desperate to load and the player himself is still happy at the club.
According to a report from Foot Mercato, however, the reason for Embolo's absence of the MatchDay team is attributed today to talk to another club. Although the identity of the club in question has not been revealed, the publication adds that the Center-Forward is interested in various clubs in Qatar.
Earlier this week, L'équipe said, in the case of Embolo's departure from the club, Monaco can turn to Luciano Rodriguez from Ec Bahia. The Uruguay International has 10 goals this season in 40 games in all competitions.
