British boxing legend’s son joins ARSENAL as he takes next step in dream of ‘becoming the world’s best footballer’

Football has produced a good part of the father-son Duos, from the Maldini dynasty to Schmeichels and the Haaland descent, but what about boxing comes into the ring?

That is exactly what happened now, because the son of a British heavyweight has signed legend at Arsenal.

The 11-year-old boy Kingston of David Haye joined the Gunners' Academy of Sutton United, where he was named the U11S player of the year in 2024.

The Hayemaker even says that his son, a budding midfielder, wants to be 'the best football player in the world' and is 'extremely dedicated to the business'.

High expectations and lots of praise from a father who knows a few things about sporting success – and raising the next generation.

Haye, who became the undisputed World Cruiserweight champion in 2008 and later lifted WBA heavyweight Kroon, also produced a rising tennis star in the form of his other son Cassius.

The arrival of Kingston in Arsenal was first reported by Jeorge Bird from Mail Sport.

But it turns out that Father Haye predicted the steep rise of his son more than a year ago when he celebrated the Sutton U11s prize and wrote on Instagram: 'I am incredibly proud of my son, Kingston.

'At just 10 years old, he won the Sutton Player of the Year Prize of the Under 11. He is part of an excellent team at Sutton, which has played an important role in teaching him the essential basic principles to achieve his full potential one day.

'Kingston is extremely dedicated and strives to become the world's best football player. Stay informed! '

Kingston will hope to follow a similar process as his father in his resepical sport, but even imitating older brother Cassius would be a good start.

Cassius, 17, has a profit percentage of 74 percent in tennis and is 1,924th on the ITF Junior Tour.

Haye celebrated the birthday of his older son earlier this year and wrote: 'My oldest son had just turned 17 … and I can honestly can't believe how quickly the years flown.

'From a fearless little boy to a targeted young man, he now lives alone and competes full -time on the Spanish tennis circuit since last August.

'I am incredibly proud of the way he chases his sporting dreams with discipline and adulthood after his years. He has grown into a beautiful young man – inside and out … and at 6'4 he is now officially larger than me (not that I am bitter about it).

'Big things that are first. View this space. '
