Brock Lesnar rejected the life-changing NFL deal before UFC Run
After his competition in Wrestlemania XX in March 2004, Lesnar shocked the wrestling world when he announced that he was left the organization to pursue a career in the NFL.
Lesnar had no longer participated in American football since high school days, but remained steadfast when giving a final shot and told a local radio station that he was still better than most professional players.
“I am an underdog in athletics since I was five, I received zero college offers for struggling [and] Now people say that I can't play football, that it's a joke … I say I can do it – I'm a good athlete as many boys in the NFL, if not better. “
Allegedly, Lesnar made a considerable impression on the NFL Scouting Combine and eventually signed a few weeks later with the Minnesota Vikings – although writing was quickly on the wall for his final exit.

In April, Lesnar was involved in a traffic collision while driving on his motorcycle, resulting in various painful injuries – including a broken jaw, pulled, bruised pelvis and broken hand.
The American striking would play in different pre -season matches for the Vikings, but did not succeed in showing enough to reach the big competitions, with reports that claimed that he still had trouble recovering from the accident.
Lesnar was finally released by the Vikings later that summer, but would receive an offer to play for the team in NFL Europe League (NFL Europe), a deal that he would reject.
According to veteran reporter Dave Meltzer, the reason for the NFL exexit of Lesnar was because he “was never at home to see his family”, and that he had finally come to terms with the fact that he was “so far behind”.
“You have to feel confident, and I didn't do that,” he told Meltzer about his NFL office period in 2007.
“I realized that I was not prepared in the Vikings training camp. I thought to myself, “What am I doing here?” Because of my lack of experience, I felt it wasn't for me. “
Lesnar would make his UFC debut against Frank Mir in 2008 and claimed the heavyweight title towards the end of the year, defending the belt twice before leaving the MMA world in 2016.
Brock Lesnar once received revenge with an 'annoying' suplex on the football field
If there was ever someone you would like to support in a scrap on the field of the Brock Lesnar, right?
During an appearance on the 'The NFL Up' show in 2016, former Minnesota Vikings player Nate Burleson was asked what the 'dirtiest thing he ever saw was on a football field. '
'Do you remember your Brock Lesnar, WWE Guy? He came out and someone who leaves Daunte Culpepper cheap, was late and brock was like “who did it?” … the next piece he went suplexing the man; That was a different kind of filthy. “
The show fellow guests laughed understandably for the idea that Lesnar chooses to bring out his WWE movements on the football field, with Burleson calling the move (and post-supleX reaction) a 'generous Rumble'.
“He grabbed an adult man after the piece, it was a generous rumble, that was Minnesota vs Kansas City during the training camp [and] That was an annoying suplex, on the football field. '
Interestingly, Lesnar once appeared as a player in the video game 'Madden NFL O6' as a defensive tackle -free agent where he had an overall assessment of 69.
