Bruno Fernandes revealed that wife Ana had a huge word about his decision to stimulate the Saudi -Pro League.
The Portuguese star rejected a package of £ 200 million from Al-Hilal to stay in Manchester United.
Fernandes was a rare shiny light in a gloomy old transhandel season in the past term.
And the skipper has now rejected a fortune to stay in the northwest.
Reports suggest that Hilal already offered to pay the wages of £ 250,000 a week of Fernandes in three -fervous.
But with another two years about his United Deal, the 30-year-old decided to stay in Manchester.
Fernandes said: “There was that possibility [I could leave]The president of Al Hilal called me a month ago to ask.
“There was a waiting time on my part to think about what the future would entail. I would be open to it, if Manchester United thought it was my time.
'I spoke with [manager] Ruben Amorim, who really tried to talk to me.
“I spoke with the club, which was not willing to sell, only if I really wanted to leave.
“We never talked about money – that was all handled by my agent, not me.”
Fernandes and Ana are young people and met in their teenage years.
They married in 2015 and have two children together – Matilde, 8, and Goncalo, 4.
And he leaned on his rock for advice on whether or not to leave the Theater van Dream this summer.
Fernandes continued: “I spoke with my family to understand if that was what I wanted for my future.
“It was actually my wife who asked me – I never said yes or no.
“She has set my professional priorities for everything else.”
During the early days of Fernandes as a wrestling player, he did not have the money to get his Beau on dates.
Ana financed their relationship by referee Futsal matches in the weekend.
And the United Star credit her to get them through the “difficult times”.
Fernandes said: “Ana has been on this ride since we were 16, 17, 18 years old.
“We met like teenagers, and when we first started dating, I didn't earn money as a football player.
“She had a good job as a Futsal referee at the weekend.
“She used to do three or four games in a row on a Saturday and then we would always go to the cinema on Sunday.
“At the time, I didn't have much money at the time, so Ana was the one who had to pay for our film tickets.
“The same thing about eating out. Even in the pizza shop she had to pay.”
Although Fernandes brings the big money, Ana remains her own boss.
She is the owner and CEO of Architecture and Interior Design Company Studio Otto.
Ana has more than 120,000 followers on social media.
Her presence is mainly devoted to her family and the success of Bruno at United and deserves the name 'Queen of Old Trafford'.
