Kai Asakura fought his brother in a street fight
At UFC 310 on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, former Rizin King, Kai Asakura, will challenge Alexandre Pantoja for the flyweight championship of the world's premier mixed martial arts organization.
The gifted striker set his sights on reaching the sporting pinnacle he was looking for one night in Japan when he went to war with his own brother.
While most start their journey to UFC superstardom by stepping foot in a gym, Asakura did things a little differently.
His sibling, who was known for his street fighting, challenged him to a clash, and the future MMA icon accepted the call.

Speaking on the UFC 310 Countdown Show, the warrior explained: “The story of how I got into MMA is pretty crazy. My older brother fought in the streets every day. He defeated everyone and there was no one left to fight. So one day my older brother called me into the street in the middle of the night.
“Suddenly he gave me a pair of boxing gloves to wear. He really tried to kill me with every attack. I could dodge everything. It was the first time I really had an argument. That's when I realized I had serious potential as a fighter.”
Alexandre Pantoja wants to match Anderson Silva at UFC 310
While Asakura is confident he has the minerals to claim the UFC title in his very first fight in the company, Alexandre Pantoja has other ideas.
Born in Brazil, the talented athlete grew up watching the legendary Anderson Silva knock his opponents unconscious with a series of epic kicks.
And at UFC 310, he plans to emulate his hero in one specific area.
