Manchester United continues to follow a deal for Brentford, Voorwaart Bryan Mbeumo, but the Red Devils have come across a number of problems while trying to take him to Old Trafford
Manchester United is confronted with another problem while they try to sign Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo. The Red Devils have put it at the front to the top of their transfer -shorts, because they want to solve their target problem.
United has already had two bids that have been rejected to the Cameroonian, with the bees that are determined at their £ 63 million appreciation. United likes to continue to sign him and hope that a deal is complete prior to their pre-season tour to the US for the Premier League Summer Series.
But there are some doubts. Tottenham was linked to a movement, only for Mbeumo to give priority to a move to Old Trafford.
And now transfers could see the opportunities of United elsewhere to sign Mbeumo during the coming weeks. Nottingham Forest is trying to sign his teammate Yoanne Wissa this summer after seeing their earlier attempts failing, with the athletics revealing that they made a new bid for his services.
Forest chases him as a replacement for Anthony Elanga, of whom is expected to complete a move to Newcastle in the coming days. If Wissa moves to the city ground, Brentford could greatly increase their demands for teammate Mbeumo.
And that could cause United to increase their negotiations to get a deal over the line. Brentford director of Football Phil Giles recently spoke that almost a deal was closed.
As quoted by Sky Sports, he said: “There is a lot of interest in Bryan. I think it is well published and spoken, his preference. I think he is also in Brentford if necessary, also, if necessary.
“Let's take a look about that. I think our position is that he had an incredible season last season, we expected interested in him. If that deal is right, there is a deal to do, if not then he will stay.

“We spoke with Bryan and his representatives. It is not a fact that he will leave this summer. There is interest.
“He had a great season last season, so it is inevitable that there will be interest in him. If we get the right offer, there may be a deal to do, but we can only say so much about that.”
Mbeumo, 25, enjoyed a sensational season for Brentford previous term with 20 goals in all competitions. As it looks now, he only has a year about his current deal in West Londen.
