Arsenal -Wing player Bukayo Saka returned on time from injuries for the collision of Gunners against Real Madrid in the Champions League and wants to win a trophy with the North London side
Bukayo Saka insists that he can win the biggest trophies with Arsenal. And Saka says that it is “pretty clear” that he is ready to bind his future to the club in a large boost prior to their Champions League showdown with Real Madrid.
Gunners-wing player Saka admitted that the incentive to design the Spanish giants was an important factor in the last phases of his recovery after a three-month dismissal with a hamstring injury. Saka's timing is always perfect and his return appears on Arsenal's biggest competition of the season. He received the reception of an incredible hero when he came as a replacement last week and scored against Fulham.
The wing player of England has two years left from his current contract and he believes that he can fulfill all his career ambitions with the Emirates. When he was asked about his future, Saka said: “Yes, well, for me I want to win and I want to win by wearing this badge. So I think it's pretty clear that the fans know how much I love them.
“You saw when I came up on Tuesday, I think they love me. So it's a good relationship and I am really happy to be here and just concentrate on winning.”
The Emirates have had few love affairs such as those with Saka. He is the hero of home -grown, the Hale End Academy product whose smile lights up the stadium and they appreciate that he is one of the best players in the world.
That night, his return after his injury, was an unforgettable occasion because the stadium got up, it was a deafening sound and, to close it all, fourth Saka's goal by moving to fitness coach Sam Wilson. Ricky Wilson was the other coach who helped him.
Saka said: “As I said, it was special. You have to be in the stadium to really understand and feel the sound and energy they brought that night for me. So I am really grateful and as I said, I will just win here and that is my focus.
“Sam Wilson and Ricky, they were really in my rehabilitation in my rehabilitation every day. The days that people didn't see, some days were more difficult than normal, but they were always pushing.
“Unfortunately Ricky couldn't make it, he had to be with his son at night, so he wasn't in the stadium. I always told him during the rehabilitation that when I scored and I came back, I would come and thank them.
“Sam was there, it wasn't Ricky, so I clearly went to give Sam a hug and told him that I appreciated all the trouble he has put.
“I mean, if you ask my physios, there was a lot of conversation about this game. I am waiting to be back and not just back, back in good condition. So, yes, that is what I have worked for many months working massively and yes, we are now I am excited.”
Saka admitted that if a good thing came from the injury, it was a much needed peace. “For the past five years I play after the game, the first right break I had and it was really good for me,” said Saka. “It's really nice to be back and I feel mentally frissian.”
Now Saka is convinced that Arsenal can overcome Real Madrid while sharing the stage with people like Vinicius JR and Kylian Mbappe. He is so modest and sober that he is careful to place himself in their braces and yet he admitted that he is dreaming of winning the Balon d'Or.
Saka added: “Yes, it's a dream. I think it's a dream for many players. I just work hard to do my best for my team, and all the individual prizes that come from it, I will accept it.
“I think everyone has something else to say, but yes, I don't really want to sit down and say that they are a level above me and things like this, because that is not the way I think, do you know?
“So I just leave it to everyone to have their opinion, but you know, other players will speak for themselves.”
Arsenal and England fans will feel that Saka already deserves to share that stage. And now the player gets the chance for himself.
