Arsenal has received a large team boost for their UEFA Champions League fights with Real Madrid next month.
The Gunners went in the last eight of the competition after a dominant 9-3 last 16 aggregated victory over PSV Eindhoven.
Their reward for this is a quarter -final double header against the defensive European champions, after Los Blancos has dug deep to overcome a controversial fine shootout in Atletico Madrid.
Arsenal's only earlier Champions League meeting with Los Blancos came in the last 16-phase 2005/06 when Thierry Henry silent the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in a 1-0 win.
The deployment is Sky High Prior to the 2025 edition, where the Arsenal campaign is declining on the Champions League – while Liverpool closes the Premier League title – and the team of Carlo Ancelotti Chase three major trophies.
Prior to Ancelotti's visit to Noord -London, Mikel Arteta will have his Talisman Bukayo Saka back to full fitness, in an important positive update for the Basque coach.
Saka missed three months of action after surgery on a thigh injury, but he is now in full training, with several reports in the UK that he will appear against Fulham on 1 April.
A run against Fulham will be Saka's first performance of 2025, as part of a structure towards a likely start against Real Madrid, with a trip to Everton on the maps in between.
The plan is to start Saka against Real Madrid – despite the possible risk – because of its interest in the startline of Arteta.
Raheem Sterling will miss the first stage because of a suspension of one match, but the start of Saka could see the teenage star Ethan Nwaneri fall to the couch, start with Mikel Merino and Gabriel Martinelli.
Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz remain offside with seasonal injuries for Arteta, but the return of Saka will be a point of care for Ancelotti.
