ARSENAL star Bukayo Saka has been out of action for months after undergoing a procedure.
Saka, 23, was forced off after just 23 minutes of the Gunners' 5-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last week with a hamstring injury.
Manager Mikel Arteta issued a somber update on his star winger's fitness.
And the Arsenal boss confirmed the England international could be out for more than two months.
Arteta said: “I'd rather leave it to the doctor or to himself.
But yes, Bukayo had a procedure and everything went well, but unfortunately he will be out for many, many weeks.”
“Many weeks, I think it will be more than two months, I don't know how long it will take with the scar tissue or improving his mobility.
“We have to rely on the team, that is our strength. We are a team of players who together can score twenty to thirty goals.”
Saka has been a focal point for Arsenal this season as he has dominated opponents down the right flank.
The forward has scored a total of nine goals and thirteen assists in 24 games in all competitions this season.
