Bundesliga giants looking to poach two Barcelona squad members

Barcelona director of Football Deco has noted that his side will not be 'crazy' in the transfer market, with their priority to retain the team they have. However, he raised some eyebrows by explaining that Barcelona would make a handful of signing sessions in the midst of doubts about their ability to register players again this summer.

In particular, since it seems that the top two goals of the club are Joan Garcia, and Liverpool's Luis Diaz, the latter is a long way of cheap, even if they get the red to lower their asking price from € 85 million. However, a way to come up with the shortage is through sales.

There are not much obvious departure on the horizon, with most of the team that wants to stay in the club. Andreas Christensen was a name that was planned for an exit in January and again this summer. According to Semper Barca, Bayer Leverkusen and new manager Erik ten Hag have shown interest in Christensen and will try to persuade him to go to the Bundesliga. They see him as someone who could improve his defense, with Jonathan Tah recently out.

Christensen has been clear that he is not going to leave Barcelona so far, and perhaps a more realistic target midfielder Pablo Torre is. The 22-year-old also wants to stay, but Barcelona is open to an exit or a loan with an option to buy for Leverkusen. Ten Hag feels that he could get more from Torre, who was impressed this season in his meager minutes.

The Danish defender could hardly be seen throughout the season due to constant injury problems and eventually returned to action in May. He will still have Ronald Araujo, Pau Cubarsi, Eric Garica and Inigo Martinez to compete with him for his place. Torre also has Fermin Lopez, Gavi and Dani Olmo for him in the pecking order, which limits his playing time.
