Burnley allegedly makes enquiry to sign free agent Christian Eriksen

Burnley reportedly did an investigation to sign the former Midfielder of Manchester United and Danish international Eriksen while trying to build a team that can survive in the Premier League this season after they were relegated two years ago.

Eriksen, who reportedly rejected an approach of the newly promoted championship club Wrexham last month, has expressed it, otherwise he would like to continue his career of the English Premier League.

The DANE left Manchester United at the end of last season, where he struggled to maintain a regular place in the starting eleven of Ruben Amorim.

Last month the representative of Eriksen Martin Schoots told Mail Sport: “Christian still wants to play in a first competition and he absolutely wants to stay in Western Europe. There are some contacts going on, but it must fit on both sides.”

In March, Christian Eriksen spoke about his dreams for the future where he rejected a move to destinations such as Denmark and the United States, but he was generally very open about where he would continue his career.

However, he also expressed his desire to play at a high level, so that his dream of participating in the World Cup 2026 could be fulfilled.

Burnley spent a little more than £ 60 million this summer on eight new players. Just like Eriksen, the current Burnley -Baas Scott Parker for Tottenham played, but left in the summer of 2013 before Eriksen arrived from Ajax
