Butterbean names hardest hitting opponent who ‘rocked his world’ during iconic ‘300-fight’ career

Boxing Legend Butterbean claims that he was startled once during his combat sport career.

The heavyweight icon – real name Eric Esch – had 126 professional periods about boxing, MMA and Kickboxing.

Butterbean, however, states that he actually fought more than 300 times before he retired in 2013.

The American is proud of his Granite Kin and claims that the only thing that came close to Kraken was a main kick of one of his best friends.

Butterbean calls his hardest affected opponent

Butterbean defeated Wesley Correira by TKO (Doctor stoppage because of a broken arm) when they fought under MMA rules in 2006.

Two years later, 'Cabbage' received revenge when they remembered kickboxing at the K-1 World Grand Prix.

Correira landed a clean main kick that Butterbean Wobble made before he fell on the floor with the face.

The 58-year-old was not eliminated and he managed to get up again, but the fight was canceled because he was supposed to be in no fit to continue.

“There is no one I think I will be able to hurt myself. I am so tough,” said Butterbean when he was asked which of his opponents was the loudest during a recent interview with Bloody Elbow

“I don't try to scoop up on myself, but I could come across and get up and smile a brick wall.

“I fought against a man called 'Cabbage' Correira and I took a leg kick against the head.

“It's what they call about your bell. I could hear calls. He is the only one who has ever made me feel like that. He didn't eliminate me. I have never really eliminated, but 'cabbage' is a really cool guy and a really good friend of mine.

“It's funny how someone can hit you in the head and rock your world, and now your best friends.”

Butterbean Eyes Comeback in 2025

For several years, butterbean was limited to a wheelchair after the balloon of a maximum of 500 pounds.

Now he has lost 220 pounds and he is ready to prove that you can bounce everything back by fighting again.

“I want to do another fight to prove people that, anyway, you get, if you believe in yourself as if I believe in myself, you can achieve everything,” said Butterbean about his comeback.

“I want to do it this year. Certainly this year.”

Jake Paul is at the top of the hit list of Butterbean, but he also loves a fight with Brock Lesnar.

It seems unlikely that one of them agrees to be confronted with Esch because they have ignored his call-outs.

Nevertheless, Butterbean will complete his remarkable turnaround by fighting someone else in 2025.
