A feud seems to brew between Caio Borralho and Khamzat Chimaev in the middleweight division, with the status of the champion that is currently unknown.
Last week the news broke that the UFC middleweight could be injured in the middleweight champion Du Plessis and could not defend his title against Khamzat Chimaev.
And with that the undefeated Chechen was called by colleague undefeated middleweight, Caio Borralho, who focuses on an interim title fight against Chimaev.
After the callout of the Fighting Nerds, Chimaev responded by placing an image online from him who choked the Brazilian and accepted the potential interim fight.

Caio Borralho responds to viral images
In the past, 'The Natural' is part of one of the camps of Chimaev, and he has now offered a reaction to the images of him that was suffocated by 'Borz'.
“The moment I went to the Khamzat training camp, I have no problem saying that I was beaten up because I helped him,” Borralho explained in an interview with Submission Radio.
“Khamzat had about 10 sparring partners, all those guys he never came to with them or became friends with them because they would kill each other in training, Khamzat would hurt them, then they should leave.
“That was far from a sparring session. That was a video of him drilling positions … He just has fun, he knows we were training, we were filming for the UFC, we drill … I didn't even defend the Takedown,” Borralho continued.
Borralho claims that Du Plessis broke his shin
The promotion was originally aimed at a title fight between 'Still Knocks' and Chimaev then, given 'Borz' controversially missed of the title shot earlier this year.
However, the status of the South African champion is currently unknown, where rumors continue to circulate that he has sustained an injury that will leave him on the sidelines for a while.
Borralho has revealed that he has heard du plessis broke his tibia while he practiced low staircases, so that he may have been put out of operation for more than six months.
