Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti suggested that his future in the club will be resolved at the end of the season.
The place of Ancelotti in Madrid was questioned after their 3-0 defeat against Arsenal in the Champions League in midweek.
That defeat followed a 2-1 loss to Valencia in Laliga, in which they follow Leaders Barcelona.
Madrid has indeed lost three of their last nine Laliga matches (W4 D2), with the same number of defeats as in their previous 62 league matches in advance (W46 D13 L3).
Ancelotti's contract in Madrid runs until the end of next season and provided for Alaves on Sunday, the Italian insisted on patience.
“I should not talk about things about my future, because the contract is quite clear. Whatever it is, it will be spoken at the end of the season,” Ancelotti told reporters.
“The club always supports me, especially at difficult moments.”

With a shortage of three goals to destroy at home on Wednesday, Ancelotti believes that his side can set up a comeback.
“Every defeat is always the same. If you lose, it is a difficult time. You have to think about how you can bounce back. Concentrate. But luckily football is that … After a defeat there will be a chance,” he said.

But Ancelotti does not want to consider anything for granted against struggling Alaves.

Ancelotti has won all five of his matches against Alaves in Laliga. He only confronted more occasions against Almería and Granada (eight) while won 100% of the time in the competition.
