UFC CEO, Dana White, could work with some of the biggest names in boxing in the not so distant future.
For several years, Dana White has been teasing that he will bring his expertise to the boxing world, and he created Zuffa boxing with Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta to do that.
The UFC boss has immersed its toe in the water by being the promoter for the boxing perspective, Callum Walsh, and last year he brought the Irish to Dublin for a big event.
Last Thursday, however, his next huge company was announced, because White and Turki Alshikh work together to create TKO Boxing, a new boxing competition that will run in the same way as the UFC.

Canelo Alvarez could headline the first show of TKO Boxing
During their groundbreaking announcement, White and Turki Alalshikh revealed that their plan is that the competition runs in the same size as the UFC with rankings per weight class and only one champion per weight class.
The most important criticism of boxing is that it is too difficult to follow for the fans, because there are several titles per weight class, making it more difficult to build stars.
Nevertheless, a hunter who has benefited from the traditional boxing format, Canelo Alvarez. The Mexican superstar used to be the undisputed super middleweight champion and on 3 May he gets the chance to achieve that performance again when he takes on William Scull.
However, the fans and even Alshikh are already looking past Canelo's planned fight against Scull while Canelo and Alshikh drew an exclusive deal for the Mexican to fight in Saudi Arabia.
And with the recent announcement of TKO boxing, Canelo could compete in the new competition and gave his response to the news.
“I think it's best for the hunters there are, I think that's fine. I think they are going to build the best for the hunters, I am pretty sure of that, and I am glad that someone takes care of the hunters because there are many promoters who do not take the hunters seriously, “Canelo told the last round.
“I first have to take care of my May fight, then we will see around September. That is a possibility to fight in Las Vegas in September and to be the first (to compete on TKO boxing), “Canelo continued.
Turki Alalshikh and Dana White Talk Potential September Event
Although the finer details regarding TKO boxes have not yet been released, Alalshikh and White have revealed that they will focus on 12 September for their inaugural event.
“We will come together with (Alshikh) tomorrow, we are going to photograph some content and when it is time to announce, we have a huge fight and this is exactly what I am talking about, a huge fight that only this guy could make … We will announce it when we are ready,” White said on the Pat McAfee show.
Turki has made it clear that he wants to make a super fight between Canelo and Terence Crawford, with rumors that are circulating that will be the inaugural head of a TKO boxing event.
