Canelo Alvarez has scored 39 victories by knockout during his legendary 67-Vecht boxing career.
The most brutal of them came when in May 2016 he was in the square of a former light-cycling weight champion.
Amir Khan was known for having a suspicious chin, so it came as a huge shock when he decided to jump to 155 pounds to fight the pound-for-pound best boxer in the world.
The British boxing legend BambooLed Canelo Alvarez at his sizzling speed during the first few rounds of their fight, but it always seemed to be just a matter of time before he was cold on the canvas.

Canelo Alvarez remembers his scariest knock -out
A huge upper hand of Canelo caught Khan, causing him to sleep in the sixth round of their fight.
The Mexican fighting icon almost immediately checked his opponent, of which he feared that he might have sustained a potentially fatal injury because of the nature of the knockout.
“With Amir Khan he scared me a little,” Canelo said during a Dazn documentary in 2022.
“I felt a bit worried. I actually went to see if he was good with him. It was the natural reaction.
“The knockout was too strong. And moreover, when he fell into the canvas, he turned his neck badly.
“So I thought there was something more than a knockout had happened.”
Amir Khan predicts Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford
Khan recently offered his unique perspective on the upcoming fight by Canelo with Terence Crawford.
Two of the biggest stars in Boxing will clash in Las Vegas in the fight of the year on 13 September.
Khan is the only man who has fought both hunters. After recovering from his brutal ko loss against Canelo, he was put in six rounds by Terence Crawford, who was booed loudly after landing a horror low blow to win their fight in April 2019.
“I am going to support my boy, Terence Crawford. He is a good friend of mine. I think he can do it. He has a great boxing IQ, his IQ is perfect and he can see everything,” Khan recently told the ring.
“Crawford touches hard. Many people give Crawford no honor for the Punch -Power he has.
“I have been in the ring with him, he has hit me hard. It is clear that the most powerful hunter between the two Canelo will be, but I think Crawford still has enough power to hurt Canelo and push him back, and that he is a challenge for him.”
