Stade de Reims finished fourth row as the Droomrun of Cannes in the Coupe de France after a 2-1 victory in the semi-final on Wednesday.
The side of Ligue 1 was made to work for their victory, after they returned in the second half after Hafiz Ibrahim initially set them up with 1-0 after just 14 minutes.
The striker was founded by Mamadou Diakhon, who put the ball towards him to roll home from close up.
But the hosts of the lower league would not give up without a fight, with Cheikh N'Doye who went home from a corner for seven minutes in the second half.
Although the hope for Cannes who recreated their Coupe de France triumph from 1932 was poured only six minutes after reaching the level. Teddy Teuma scored after he was set up by Ibrahim to take the lead again.
France Legends Patrick Vieira and Zinedine Zidane both had started their career with Cannes, but there would be no fairytale story here, where the visitors looked at the competition effectively.
Reims will be confronted in the Cup final in the Stade de France in the Cup final Paris Saint-Germain on 24 May.

Data debrief: Cannes Out, but not down
Despite their elimination from the Coupe de France, Cannes has expanded a scoring run of six straight matches in the competition.
Cderic Goncalves meanwhile brought his assistant Tally on three in the competition after setting up N'Doye's Equalizer.
For Reims, however, it is the first time since 1977 that they will compete in the final of the Coupe de France.
