Carabao Cup introduces popular new feature on 24 teams’ shirts

The Carabao Cup has introduced a new feature that will appear on the shirts of 24 different clubs from the coming season.

From this period, the Carabao Cup -Badge on the sleeve of each shirt will contain a song to win the number of times a club has the competition.

West Brom, QPR, Leeds United, Swindon Town, Stoke City, Oxford United, Luton Town, Sheffield Wednesday, Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough and Swansea have the number one.

Norwich, Birmingham City, Wolves and Premier League Giants Arsenal have two.

Leicester City will have three, with Tottenham and Nottingham Forest, both with the help of the number four.

Aston Villa and Chelsea both won five titles with Manchester United who won six.

Manchester City will use the number eight to represent the eight titles they have won.

And Liverpool has number 10 on the badge.

In the meantime, as ruling champions, Newcastle will have this campaign a special Golden Badge on their kits.

Fans quickly commented on the addition, where one supporter in Newcastle wrote: “Never thought I would see the day that we had once had a badge with gold sleeves.”

Another added: “We have a Golden Badge!”

A third said, “We really get a golden badge.”

While one person poked pleasure in Arsenal because he had only won the competition twice.

The first round of the Carabao Cup starts on Tuesday.

Some Premier League parties come in the second round.
