Carlo Ancelotti relieved as trio of key players to be available for Real Madrid-Getafe clash
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is in dire need of good news, and his chances of producing something against Getafe on Sunday have increased dramatically as his front line will be much stronger. After their defeat to Liverpool, Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Brahim Diaz all suffered from muscle soreness.
However, all three will be fit for their return home to the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday. Mbappe, Bellingham and Brahim trained normally on Friday and all three are expected to return to work for the visit of Los Azulones. Rodrygo Goes is likely to return to the squad, while Lucas Vazquez and Fran Garcia are set to start on the wings, which according to Marca means a return to midfield for Fede Valverde alongside possibly Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos.
Ancelotti will undoubtedly be asked on Sunday to unravel Getafe's defensive structure, with José Bordalas a familiar and sometimes precarious foe. A win will see them keep pace with Barcelona regardless of what the Catalans do against Las Palmas on Saturday. With morale low, Real Madrid could also use a win mentally.
