Mohamed Salah was Liverpool training in a positive mood while closing a new deal with the club.
For a few months it has been unclear whether the Reds -hero would stay in the club this summer at the expiry of his contract, so it sometimes looked like he would leave, but the opposite now seems likely.
Mail Sport understands that he is closing a new two -year -old deal with the club, and Virgil van Dijk will probably follow the example after dropping an important hint about his future in the past week.
A man who will be satisfied with the news, is Jamie Carragher, accused of being 'obsessed with' with Salah after he had responded to a social media post of the Egyptian in the summer, Alexander-Arnold and Van Dijk-de three outside the contract stars in Liverpool in the summer.
After Carragher had suggested that Salah and Alexander-Arnold 'could get a magazine' from Van Dijk's book about the way he dealt with the Saga, Salah said: “I am starting to think that you are obsessed with me,” accompanied by a wink face.
Carragher said that he was 'always' obsessed with the Egyptian, and he again weighed the last post of Salah.
Salah, 32, shared two Snaps on Wednesday evening with his followers of almost 20 million x after the news in his contract discussions had been crossed over the progress.
One showed the attacker who seemed to laugh while undergoing a gym work, and the other saw a shot from the canteen, where he seemed to be sitting with Dominik Szoboszlai who played a board game.
Salah could be sat on a bar stool with his leg up, a drink for him when Szoboszlai seemed to think about his next move.
Andy Robertson could be seen in a drink in the background, with Conor Bradley also present.
Fans became wild in the commentary part of the message, with fank channels in particular full of praise.
However, the most beloved answer came from Carragher, who placed 'The Obsession Continues', accompanied by a red heart emoji.
Salah has attracted massive interest from Saudi Arabia over the past two years. Altihad saw that a £ 150 million offer in August 2023, which was quickly rejected by Liverpool.
The Saudis have retained an interest in Salah and investigated whether they could convince him to join them this summer, when his Liverpool contract will lapse. The 32-year-old has long been the 'dream goal' of the Saudi Pro League.
Salah himself has publicly discussed his contractsaga several times and said in November that he was 'more out' and Sky Sports told that this was his last season in the club.
Many observers considered this a tactic from Salah to put pressure on the hierarchy of Liverpool, led by Fenway Sports Group (FSG) Chief Michael Edwards and new sports director Richard Hughes, to extend his deal.
A contract offer has been on the table for a while, but Salah and his representative, Ramy Abbas, wanted a better deal. FSG has a long -term policy not to expand any deal for players in the thirty, but fans have called on the owners to find an exception here.
