England Under-21 Manager Lee Carsley has signed a new contract to stay in the role until 2027.
Carsley, who played a role of six games in the leadership of the senior team after the departure of Gareth Southgate in 2024, was previously for a 12 -month rolling deal.
But this new deal is a sign of dedication of the former ERTON and Birmingham midfielder, with the European championships under the age of 21 that will take place in a week.
Carsley and England hope to keep the title after their victory against Spain in the last two years ago.
The tournament will be held in Slovakia with England opposite the Czech Republic in their first game on June 12.
Carsley said: “I just signed an extension. I have the euros and then the next campaign. My future is definitely the Fa.”
'I just try to do it again [win the Euros]. The priority is the euros and I will not attract attention there. “

The side of Carsley will again be one of the favorites, with the team including Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri and Tottenham's Archie Gray.
However, there will be changes to the original team, in which Adam Wharton is injured and Liam Delap is a possible exclusion while he is preparing to join Chelsea to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup, which he will have to prioritize
The same rule would apply to Jobe Bellingham if he completed a move to Borussia Dortmund from Sunderland in the coming days.
Despite these types of unrest, Carsley is relaxed about the situation.
He said: “We have room in our schedule to ensure that they get the chance if they need a medical or that they have to talk to a club.
“Ideally, I want them here, of course, I do that. You want your strongest team, but we have to put the players first and that is definitely what we do.”
Seven from Carsley's victorious 2023 European Championships Squad are in the senior team of Thomas Tuchel for matches against Andorra and Senegal and he believes that progression can encourage these players during this tournament.
“I think that can be inspiring for this group,” said Carsley.
“Of the last group that won the euros, nine debut debuts in the senior team.
“What an incentive to win a tournament and to have that progression and to have that conveyor belt of players who can endure.”
