Together with his new role as a commentator and analyst for the real American freestyle of Hulk Hogan, Chael Sonnen is 'The Ultimate Fighter' for the third time.
While he has been admitted to Rivals in Jones and Wanderlei Silva in the past, the last season of 'Tuf' sees him clashing with his friend and fellow gastheer, Daniel Cormier.
Fans received a look at the dynamics for this season with the debut episode in which the Sonnen team, with Colby Covington who worked as a coach, went to work.
They took their first victory after Joseph Morales achieved the upset victory over Eduardo Henrique of Team Cormier to achieve a strong start.
However, it was the pre-Vecht antics of his fellow coach who apparently received the biggest response from Sonnen in this first episode.
Chael Sonnen says that he had not expected the competitive approach of Daniel Cormier from 'The Ultimate Fighter'
In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, Chael Sonnen spoke about whether he saw a different side to Daniel Cormier during their time about 'The Ultimate Fighter'.
“Yes, and I have to tell you, I just respected it. I just wasn't ready. I didn't know it existed when we arrived those events, whether it was the way in which some of the things they showed on the camera, part of the things that didn't pass the processing, I wasn't ready for Daniel to worn like that.”
The two former competitors who are regularly 'Good Guy/Bad Guy' show from ESPN, where they often joke together, but she has brought 'Tuf' into a competitive environment.
This showed in the debut episode in which Cormier and his team deal with songs from “UH Vai Morrer” to support their Brazilian teammate, which translates into “You You'to Die”.
After an intense weighting, Sonnen Joseph Morales praised because he had none of the pre-fighting crimins come to him before he started producing the profit of entry.
Sonnen said that although he respected his fellow coach who adopted this attitude towards the show, he wishes him to see it coming so that he could take revenge.
“You know, Daniel is one of the boys. He is still in the room. He still gets his training sessions. He has little Daniel that he raises. I mean, he will be in those rooms for another 20 years and in general, if you are one of the boys, you are one of the boys.
“Then he was put in a coaching role, which is a more responsible rich. So what a sportsman thought, I thought Daniel was, I thought he would be more a sportsman in this situation and that part threw me. I wasn't ready for him. I liked it. I wish I would have known it, but if I was, it would have been taken.”
