Charles Oliveira names hardest-hitting opponent he’s ever fought after scary KO loss to Ilia Topuria

Charles Oliveira thinks about the worst knockout loss of his iconic 47-Vecht MMA career.

The former lightweight champion has a technical point of view of five KO losses in the Octagon.

However, none of them seemed exactly as Ilia Topuria put on him on UFC 317 on 28 June.

Charles Oliveira remained unconscious on the floor after a perfect two-punch combination, so that the Brazilian legend thought of the most difficult batters he came across.

Charles Oliveira calls his hardest affected opponent

Oliveira gave a shocking answer to the question 'Hardst-hitting opponent' during UFC 312 Q&A.

'Do Bronx' claimed that nobody hit harder than he had shared the cage with Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, Max Holloway, Jeremy Stephens and much more of the big MMA boxers.

The 35-year-old changed his song after he was flatulined by Ilia Topuria a few weeks ago.

“Ilia is definitely the most difficult batter. Oliveira told AG.Fight.

“He is the one who hit me the most. There is no denying. I have taken really hard hits from boys like Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler who only ended up in a knockdown.

“I have never been beaten. I was brought down by bumps, but this time I was eliminated. It was something new for me. I didn't know what had happened.”

What is the next step for Charles Oliveira?

In the same interview, Oliveira unveiled his return time line and called the opponent he then wants.

Holloway will defend his BMF title against Poirier, who will retire on July 19 after UFC 318.

Whatever the way that fight goes, Oliveira fantasizes to be 'blessed' in a rematch later this year.

“(Max Holloway) will fight in July, I fought in June,” he said. “I think November would be time.

“It would be a great fight. He said he would fight too, so why not?”
