Charles Oliveira warned fans of Conor McGregor’s future in the UFC as retirement admission surfaces

Charles Oliveira believes that we have seen the last of Conor McGregor in the UFC, and his recent pension edition supports his claim.

After his victory over Michael Chandler at UFC 309, Charles Oliveira believes that he has done enough to earn a shot at a rematch against lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and begged the UFC to fight.

Nevertheless, the Brazilian was also involved in a feud with Ilia Topuria, with 'Do Bronx' coupled to potentially Topuria's first opponent since permanently up to lightweight.

During his time in its time, Oliveira has constantly responded to the state of the lightweight division, as well as the largest star of the sport, Conor McGregor.

Charles Oliveira comments on McGregor's Fighting Future as pension surfaces

Oliveira has previously plagued a potential fight against McGregor, but that was then 'the infamous' apparently a UFC Comback had at the forefront of his mind.

Although, last Thursday, McGregor made a surprising admission to his potential UFC pension, claiming that he is happy with what he has achieved in sport and focuses on his striving for President of Ireland.

“To be honest, I don't know why people are still talking about Conor McGregor. He has done everything he wanted to do in the sport, and now he chooses to live his life as he lives,” Oliveira told OddPedia.

“I think the fans should forget Conor McGregor that comes back, he is not going to fight anymore,” the former UFC Lightweight Champion continued.

Charles Oliveira claims that he would ko Ilia Topuria in potential battle

Although 'Do Bronx' is hopeful on a rematch against Makhachev, it is still unclear in which direction the promotion will go, with 'La Leyenda' possibly the preference above the Brazilian.

Although he was originally not too enthusiastic about a fight against Topuria, Oliveira has admitted that he would fight against the 28-year-old if he was asked by the promotion.

“Whoever I have to fight, I'm going to fight. I have nothing but respect for Ilia Topuria, but this is lightweight. It is the most difficult division you've ever seen and I have power in my hands.

“I believe in my Jiu-Jitsu, but I believe I could turn ilia Topuria off,” Oliveira claimed.
