Charles Oliveira won three fights in one night to kick off his impressive MMA career in 2008

Charles Oliveira has had an incredible career in the UFC so far, but it all started with a busy evening for the Brazilian.

The former UFC Lightweight Champion is a favorite among MMA fans. The TKO victory of Charles Oliveira on Michael Chandler in 2021 saw him become world champions, but it is his incredible entry that most of them know him.

Oliveira will fight against Ilia Topuria on UFC 317, with the chance of becoming a double champion, a clear opportunity for the Brazilian.

He has taken a long way since his debut in MMA, where a young Oliveira had to win three fights in one night to secure his first professional title.

Charles Oliveira won a one-night tournament to start his MMA career with three big wins

Oliveira started his MMA career in 2008 when he became professional to participate in the PCF Welterweight Grand Prix tournament.

He fought in Sao Paulo on Predador FC 9, including a one-night tournament with a large number of Brazilian hunters.

Eight hunters participated in a knockout match, including former UFC Fighter Viscardi Andrade.

Oliveira had never participated professionally, but managed to go all the way by winning three fights in one night during this event in Brazil.

His fighting did not last long. The first match against Jackson Pontes ended in a first round entry, when Oliveira joined a coded choke to force pontes to tap.

The second fight was against Andrade, who did a stronger fight. Oliveira, however, managed to win the game via TKO in the second round, after a succession of hammer fists to Andrade's skull forced the fight to end prematurely.

He continued with a collision with Diego Braga in the final of the PFC Welterweight Grand Prix Tournament.

More than 2000 people were present for the competition, with the last wells the future UFC light weight champion against his colleague Brazilian, Braga.

Oliveira managed a new victory in the first round thanks to another referee, thanks to his barrage of bumps. He founded Braga before he lay in him with his fists before the fight was called.

While he won three fights in one night, Oliveira kept his time in the Octagon Low. He spent a combined total time of just 10 minutes and 28 seconds fighting, hardly any more than two rounds of a title fight in the UFC.

He started his MMA career with a victory of the entry, something that he would later make his specialty in the UFC.

Charles Oliveira can be Jim Miller's record equal to a victory over UFC 317

Oliveira's entry victory in his MMA debut was a sign of things coming, because he used his technical expertise to remove some of his most difficult tests in the UFC.

The Brazilian mixed war artist has won ten of his fights in the UFC Lightweight Division, the first in the debut of Oliveira for promotion in 2010 against Darren Elkins.

However, Jim Miller still has a victory in the lightweight division and holds the record with eleven victories in that measure.

If Oliveira wants to break the record of Miller, he must force an unbeaten former champion to tap the UFC 317 main event in his next fight.

It will be a tough test for the Brazilian, but after winning three fights in one night, a heavy fight with Topuria does not seem too daunting.
