Chelsea secured their place in the Europa Conference League for the last eight after the goal of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall took a 1-0 win over Copenhagen and sealed a 3-1 total victory.
Goals of Reece James and Enzo Fernandez In the first stage, Chelsea gave a 2-1 lead to defend at Stamford Bridge, where the side of Enzo Maresca rarely looked restless on Thursday.
A much changed Chelsea team was made to wait, but Dewsbury-Hall broke the impasse at the start of the second half and was on a draw with Molde or Legia Warsaw.
The Premier League side was slow to go in the first half of the return bone, so he did not collect a clear chance, because Pedro Neto's Gedo Penalty professions were the only sign of excitement before the break.
Maresca responded to first-choice starters Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer during the interval, and those changes paid dividends when Chelsea quickly came forward after 55 minutes.
Dewsbury-Hall intercepted in midfield before he danced through countless challenges and shot a wonderful finish in the right corner on his left foot.
That goal turned out to be decisive in a withheld affair, in which Maresca was able to shake his pack again and give a Chelsea debut to the 17-year-old Genesis Antwi.

Data Debrief: Chelsea remains favorites
Chelsea rarely looked like he came from second gear on Thursday and only gathered 1.13 expected goals to 0.92 from Copenhagen.
That should not take away from the fact that the side of Maresca has won all eight games in their conference campaign, score a total of 29 goals and only admitted six.
However, this victory could not have become a surprise, because Chelsea remains unbeaten against Copenhagen in all European competitions (four wins, two draws).
