
Chelsea has recorded a fourth consecutive victory over Tottenham by beating their London rivals on Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.
The blues, who won the Reverse Fecture 4-3 in December, took the lead just after the break when Enzo Fernandez went home from a Cole Palmer.
Moises Caicedo thought he had doubled Chelsea's benefit with a spectacular volley-even later, but in the end it was not allowed for offside after a VAR assessment of four minutes.
In the meantime, Spurs did not register a shot on goal until the 69th minute when replacement Pape Matar Sarr shot a long -distance goal past Robert Sanchez.
However, that goal was not allowed after another long VAR check, because it was considered that SARR Caicedo had contaminated in the structure.
In the result, Chelsea came back fourth place with eight rounds of luminaires. Spurs remain 14th.
