Fulham wrapped up victory over west London rivals Chelsea with a thumping 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.
The Blues have turned their Fulham Road home base into a fortress for their near neighbors, who have failed to win on the pitch since 1979.
In the first half, surprise title contenders Chelsea looked to record a routine victory, with Cole Palmer giving them their first lead in the 16th minute with an excellent individual goal.
But as the hosts failed to extend their lead, Fulham grew in stature, with Harry Wilson finding the equalizer eight minutes before the end of normal time.
With both teams chasing a lead, it was the visitors who finished on top thanks to Rodrigo Muniz's last-gasp winner after five minutes of added time.
But who managed to distinguish themselves on a difficult day for Enzo Maresca's men? And who should have done more to prevent a disaster?
CHELSEA (4-2-3-1)
Robert Sánchez – 6
Some of Sánchez's saves were spectacular as he looked like he inspired Chelsea to victory. Unfortunately, all that hard work was undone in the 82nd and 95th minutes.
Malo Gusto – 5.5
Helped by Neto to prevent Alex Iwobi and Antonee Robinson from doubling him down this flank. A cracking afternoon for Gusto, as Fulham were ruthless in their attacks on their team.
Tosin Adarabioyo – 5
Booed by Fulham fans whenever he had the ball, having left them in the summer to join Chelsea for free, and those away fans loved seeing Harry Wilson appear behind him to score the equaliser.
Levi Colwill – 5.5
Assisted Palmer for the opener. Denied a goal for himself by the assistant's flag. But Chelsea's stoppage time defense was so clumsy as they lost for the first time since October and Rodrigo Muniz scored the killer goal.
Marc Cucurella – 5
Should have doubled Chelsea's lead, but his header was so close to Bernd Leno that the Fulham goalkeeper was able to produce his reactionary save. Could, would, should.
Enzo Fernández – 6
His crossed free kick should have resulted in an assist, but Cucurella could not get the direction on his header. Denied a goal for himself in the second half at the fingertips of Leno.
Moises Caicedo – 6
With Fernandez moving up to advanced positions, Caicedo has so much responsibility in defensive midfield, and there were times when you felt he needed more help.
Pedro Neto – 5.5
There were more sandwiches than a bakery when Neto tried to convince the referee that he had been fouled just before Fulham's equalizer. Didn't work. Neto continued to work hard defensively.
Cole Palmer – 6.5
This is simply the coolest finish you will see as Palmer practically passed the ball into the bottom corner after receiving it on the half turn and floated past two Fulham players.
Jadon Sancho – 5.5
Great chance to get the winner in the final phase, but Leno was there again. Not Sancho's best game creatively as Chelsea had no spark in the final third.
Nicolas Jackson – 6
Won several free-kicks in the final third, although Chelsea did not convert any of those set-piece opportunities. Looked angry at himself after being replaced by Nkunku.
Replacements
Christopher Nkunku (for Jackson, 73) – 5
Didn't do enough with the time he had to show why he deserves more minutes.
Manager
Enzo Maresca – 5.5
Chelsea took the lead, but managed to throw it away from the 82nd minute. Painful thing for Maresca, this. At least we can't ask him about the title race anymore. For now anyway.
