Chelsea 3 Wolves 1: Cucurella and Madueke spare Sanchez’s blushes after howler

CHELSEA returned to the top four as Noni Madueke hurt Wolves again.

The winger angered the Old Gold with his derogatory comments on social media about Wolverhampton before their meeting in August.

He then scored a hat-trick in a resounding 6-2 win.

Here Madueke completed all three points with his close-range header.

Tosin Adarabioyo put Chelsea ahead after 24 minutes when VAR intervened after he was initially flagged for offside.

But Wolves finished the first half strongly and made optimal use of the pressure from a corner.

Robert Sanchez had a blast as the ball fell and Matt Doherty drilled it home.

But Marc Cucurella restored the Blues' lead before Madueke headed home – when Trevoh Chalobah's effort had already gone in.
