Real Madrid is working on a large stir this summer, in which Xabi Alonso arrives in the Dugout with a series of new signing sessions. A lot of attention is currently to the additions, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen the first through the door, but there is less said about the outputs.
Left-back Alvaro Carreras is supposed to be about to add Los Blancos to Los Blancos, but the head of the departure list, if it does indeed continue, rodrygo goes. The Brazilian star fell out of favor in the last weeks of the season, where Los Blancos finally seemed to come with the idea that one by three by Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo is unbalanced.
According to Ben Jacobs, Real Madrid would consider pulling the trigger for a fee in the region of € 90-100 million. The 24-year-old has attracted the attention of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, who do not work as a priority on him, but perhaps consider an opportunity for him. Saudi-Arabian side Al-Hilal also inquired about Rodrygo in January, but was quickly hit back.
Rodrygo has left for three years to his deal, which means that Real Madrid is still a strong negotiating position. That said, unless Xabi Alonso explains a clear role for him and convinces Rodrygo to stay, the fact that it is known that the player and the club want an exit will bring down his price tag.
Interestingly enough, Jacobs does not mention that Manchester City, who has made a formal approach for Rodrygo in the past summers and has always been a strong interest in him. Rodrygo will undoubtedly hope for a key role on his favorite left side, after he has often worn like a sidekick for Vinicius, Mbappe and Karim Benzema on the right or through the middle.
